week 1 arch1101 h/w =]

1.

a) Through high school I wasn't exactly into art subjects, mainly
due to the fact that my school's art teachers were a little on the creepy side. So my creativeness usually came in the forms of random doodling down the side of my notes, or drawings and decorations in notes to friends or, as seen in the picture, the vandalism of our school diaries. They were pretty much filled with cartoons, random drawings and pictures cut out of magazines of what i liked at tha time. Their not exactly fancy, professional pieces of artwork, but it's just what I did to occupy my time.

b) I never really thought I'd be doing architecture when I was alot younger, but my dad's been pretty good inspiration as to why i should. He did his degree back in Sri Lanka, then moved to Australia and now has his own firm. He's done pretty well for himself and his family, and im hoping to eventually take over his business. The photo shows one of the models he had to make for a client in tha past year. I liked watching him build it, & helped a bit when I could.

c) This photo is one I took of my one-year old cousin, Adsharan,
back in London. He's probably one of the most beautiful and funnest kids I've ever played with. I spent most of my time with him taking lots of photos, such as the one shown here >>>.

The fun part of taking photos of him was that you could never get him to do what you wanted and would have to end up chasing him everywhere and adjusting to what he was doing. He's probably not what everyone would think of as beautiful, but he's just absolutely amazing too me.=]
